Shine Armor

Not a fan of waterless wash

Same here .............I would never apply any coating without thoroughly cleaning the paint surface.

The question was really based upon the ease of application, level of sheen and durability :)

Cheers

Why not give it a go cos If it's as good as the RainX I recently purchased and put on the rear window of the wife's Fiat 500C ( no wiper on the rear window ) it deffo helps keep it clean for longer. The rear of this little Fiat somehow gets terribly dirty as it seems the rear attracts all of the spray given off from itself. Design feature flaw maybe, however if this droduct works on glass I'm thinking of trying it on the rear paintwork of the Fiats worst effected area. Can't see any reason why it shouldn't. So next time I have my arm twisted up my back to clean her car I'll be putting RainX to the test on the rear of Fiat paintwork. Won't be trying it on the coupe yet obviously.

Good luck TWO, try it ( on your wife's car ) and let us know............................... ( if all the paint peels off )=))
Someone has to be the first.
RHA, Roy.:)

I have a similar sounding product I was given in a drawer, it's been there about ten years =)) I still always wash with car shampoo and then wax. If your car is kept in a garage and isn't particularly dirty it may be great.

Order placed ..........I'll post an update on the results some time in the future..........Dark Sunglasses at the ready :)

Well I was not brave enough to apply to the Zed....so I tried it on the VW T-Cross bonnet only......and one word : 'DISAPOINTING!' :(
I applied as per instructions to the letter (car spotlessly clean ), and left it for a couple of days before re-washing the car. The water just sat and only beaded when the bonnet was raised.

I may give it a second coat; but have already made my mind up that a quality polish gives far far better results when it comes to water beading and protection.

Second word to remember : 'AVOID' :(:)

PS. I used SOFT 99 Fusso on the windscreen & glass several months ago

Third word to remember : 'DOGS b*******S' :):):)

Absolutely fantastic product......the windscreen wipers are virtually redundant. I'm afraid I was expecting the same from the Armor Shield
