Having to buy 9 tee shirts would bankrupt me ;)

Having had a think I'm wondering if we have a "close ups" competition. I think you probably get what that involves, and Yes it involves close ups of the cars before anyone starts with the wise ass stuff...

Guys, coming back to the subject, is really dificult to choose this month, because all of the pics have their own charm! Even with two votes, it's not helping too much! What if all of them get the first place? and share a piece of the t shirt, like they did with the Berlin Wall?:)
In that case I still want the three blonde beauties each wearing their part of the shirt for my winter album!! JIM

Gaz, if everyone gets two votes do you mean we tick our first and second choice before hitting the go button? I voted for the girls and can't seem to get a second vote in. JIM

I agree it's just a it of fun and although there may be a few scenic views I try to judge the car in relation to the back drop. It makes you look harder at the picture. I like to think that whoever owns the pickky they are proud of their work and their Z.
As a new member I like this part of the site and we'll done for all of the entry's.

We all like this part of the site because it takes us out of the monotony, but some times this guys are so good that you don't know what to choose! And this month they are terrible......:)

Yes, I'm not a rich, retired old fart with the time or money to go abroad to take great scenario pictures of my zed.
I sometimes don't think you realise how hurtful some of your comments are Mark.

I may be retired, I'm certainly not rich, maybe an old fart but I do enjoy taking a few photos when I go out in the Zed. Now, whether that's on a cruise with other forum members or on a driving holiday I still enjoy taking and sharing them. I have decided to share some of them with the forum to show other members places they may like to visit and judging by the number of likes and positive comments most people enjoy seeing them. From a photography point of view a good background is as important as the foreground so expect to see more photos from me of my Zed in different locations, some more scenic than others. I hope when you retire you have the time and money to do what you wish and that any photos you post to a forum are appreciated by all the members.

Sorry dave don't mean to offend, but I think the cars are nice enough without fancy backgrounds.

Forums are there for people to air there own views.

For what it's worth I voted for your pic this month.

I have to admit that the views on here are always light hearted banter.. Its quite refreshing from the normal die hard clubs and forums on other bmw sites... cue Mr Bean voice... ah yes.. but your second screw is not in line with the first and third.. are you sure thats an original .. :) oh look he's added something to the engine.. oh dear... run for the hills... its an aftermarket air filter.. oh no.. the sky is falling in... You get the picture.. keep the banter clean but above all have fun.. its good.. and makes me laugh a little..

That was said tongue in cheek so to speak... Just wondering it that Z3m in the garage actually is a complete Z'd.. I have only seen photos of the back.. Any how... With regard to the photos before gazmonkey comes and wraps our knuckles..It would be good to see a few different themes.. Close up's.. In the environment.. etc etc..

Themes would be quite fun, but you'd need to announce the themes well in advance. Maybe the month before or the number of pictures may be limited.

I like varied and eclectic backgrounds. Nothing wrong with scenery and those do seem to get the votes, so others obviously think they're ok. But maybe a fun pic every third one would be nice? I like Polly Browns picture this month as it exudes happiness.

How about an Xmas special???? I'm sure Badman would enter for that?? He allegedly likes dressing up!!!!

:)

Okey dokey, I'll run something slightly different in Novembers competition. I may give the competition a break in October, and try and inspire you lot to think about November instead!
