I had a run around what I think may be a good route taking in some of the many local wartime airfields in our area today. These included Scampton (inc. village), Ingham, Hemswell and Sturgate (still in use today as a small plane commercial airport) and many of the local villages frequented by the crews from these stations during the war. Between Ingham and Harpswell there is a nice location to stop and get some photo's over the cliff towards the Trent valley.
The round trip from Torksey Lock was 42 miles and took approx.1hr. Any thoughts on if this ok for a pre lunch run round please?
At some point the official tour organiser will come over and go round this route with me.;)

They'll be no issue with my run from Ollerton to Torksey, it will be a poo poo free zone!

Now Bill has cancelled his September Euro 2016 cruise which we were down for we're definite's again;)

OK Folks quick question... is this a different run to the other one scheduled for the 11th September 2016 ? Seem very close ..

I need the info so I can update the list .. Please..
 
Paul, if you're thinking of Bills Euro 2016 run then yes he's cancelled it
 
Or do you mean my mini cruise which is to tonys for his meet?
 
@Grumpy Its ok.. its the mini cruise one.. So I shall only stick this one on the list...

As for the Euro one of Billz being cancelled.. I have had a few people on Facebook ask.. are we still coming over... The Dutch guys are looking forward to our visit. We have a few coming from all over Europe for it too. So will be a good Euro meet up. Looking forward to it a lot.. :):):)

Tony can you put me down as going +1 please. Probably do what we did last year,stay night before, but leave early due her indoors working on Monday.

If it's anything like the last run we had at Tony's, I'm pleased Tony had lent me his Z3. Say no more:bag:
