I had a word with Julie at the White Swan last night and we have pencilled in a date in her diary for next September the 11th. for another meet and natter at the White Swan.
This will obviously include a very tasty dinner and if enough interest a run round some of our local country lanes including Scampton and some of the nearby villages which also had wartime airfields, including Hemswell, Ingham and Sturgate.http://www.content-delivery.co.uk/aviation/airfields/regional/Lincolnshire/Ingham.html
A treat for the sweet tooth has also been decided on, which we can enjoy later.
Please show your interest in the usual way.

UPDATE, UPDATE, UPDATE !
I'm hoping to get every one here for 11.00am, to have chat and introductions, then get the 1st. group out by 11.30am and each subsequent groups at 10 minute intervals as we have a 5 min stop for pictures over the Trent Valley at roughly the half way point. This should ensure we're all back by 1.00pm or very soon after to get meals ordered ready to eat at 2.00pm or just before. Here's hoping for a great day, including some sunshine!!
