Just realised your problem, you need to get rid of them scuffed seats, as it happens I have a nice set of black ones I could swap :D

You can't beat double fun so I hear.
Not double fun at the mo :( one pass and one fail on the MOT"s
So double fun is good but starts to cost
But I would regret selling one and I think @Si may possibly regret it as he is a good one

I think part service history and 7 owners can put people off.
What about the history make it 'part'?

Hi guys, thanks I would love to keep but just not practical to have two. @Dino D dealer stamps for first 5yrs then a 6 year gap from 2006 to 2012 during which it did 22k but no receipts. Everything documented after that.

I have sorted wheels, tyres and suspension, seats were next but Along came the Z4, good idea on the swap @Sean d but they need to stay black/blue. Do you guys think I am asking too much with seat that need work? Our county seems so unsettled at the moment; I wonder if anyone is spending.

As I have just bought one and have been hunting for the last couple of months, I would not have come to see it - purely because of the text between remote and 7 owners.
It is on autotrader, not eBay, so miss that section out and let the prospective buyers come and see for themselves.

Interesting comments @Redsheep thanks had a long debate about how much to put, just trying to be honest and realistic - so many wasted journeys looking at stuff not accurately described; but you make a good point. Perhaps an edit is order

Si,

Understand exactly what you mean, but you are trying to sell.

When I said miss out that section of text - keep in and beef up the good bits.

If someone mails/calls and asks directly about certain items, then yes of course you have to be honest - but you want to generate the interest.

The press are saying things like that but for most of us nothing has changed yet.

I have quite a few friends that I socialise with every week and we are all still planning holidays, talking about our future car purchases, planning our futures as normal.

The media / Press and the BBC are an absolute disgrace over the Euro exit.
Should be ashamed of themselves IMO.

Why can they not support their own country for god's sake.

Trash, the lot of them.......

I think the price is good, I sold a Cat C 2.2 with 16 inch wheels and no sport interior for 2k in a week in Ebay.
The part service is irritating as it's a seriously nice car.

The car looks spot on - maybe try less words in the ad, just the basics and seeing you get more Enquiries. Just say you've owned it for so long and services it and when. Maybe also so Z4 purchase forces sale and have a pic with Z4 in the background.

Ebay can be useful (as a classified). That said I did sell mine via auction with reserve to a new ebayer from France!

In my experience if it's priced too high no one will call.

It might be a touch high at the moment.

Also get it on as many sites as you can. Not everyone uses auto trader anymore.
