As is customary at the end of Le Mans, we all go for a nice drive around the campsite doing donuts and generally having a bit of fun. This year, the fun ended with two of us finding a well camouflaged ditch that we didn't see until we were on top of it :banghead:

Luckily still drivable with lots of gaffs tape and cable ties, but a lot of work needed. The only fluid lost appears to be power steering, so I'm very lucky in that respect, but I do need to rebuild/replace most components in front of the engine I fear

Could have been worse and we are still beating ourselves up over a moment of stupidity, but you live and learn.

Here's the damage for you all to laugh at

Some plastic from the bumper is nicely melted to the cat from being stuck under the car while I realised what just happened.

The guys in that part of the campsite says it happens every year, one time someone rolled their car there, we won't be the last. Going to try and make a lots of things I need today, assuming I can get a good look around :(

Oops!

Embarrassing probably doesn’t cover it.

Just don’t let him teach you at the Nurburgring

That’s an easy list to fill between us all. You should be fine with parts.

Safe to say you did that properly. I find donuting on tarmac easier to control and more fun :D

Thanks for the reminder @Redline lol! I only took delivery of the zed last night. Now to decide what engine to fit.

I'm very tempted but need to get the car ready for Vanity, very tight schedule and I'm heading offshore in two weeks.
