Hi folks,

Bought my wife a very nice 1998 Z3 Roadster 1.9 for her birthday. It's all in great shape except for the driver's seat adjust switch. It will allow the seat to go back but not forward. Is there a quick fix for this or will it need a new switch? If it's new parts can anyone advise part numbers and a good source?

Cheers

Alan

I had one that did this it may be the switch but i found that the mechanism had just jammed.
It works on a screw for height and if its been left all the way up or down it may have just stuck.
The seat has to be removed to get at it but it just one bolt and you can see if its free by twisting the screw by hand.
Good luck but if you need a switch @spurs fan in a coupe may be able to help

Mine has broken as well but you can't seem to find the white plastic bit/clip to fix mine back on

Sorry Alan, couldn't find the thread again for the switch. Do you still need one? I have it removed now with it's wiring harness.
