Can anyone tell me how to change the switch for the electric seats? I don't want to damage then with force.

Both motors are functional but the switch does not operate up/down function.

The motors are plugged into a connector which feeds into the switch, so you can probably test the new/replacement switch without removing everything I.e. Just plugging it straight into the motors.

Removal of the switch is easy if they're not heated. Just unplug the two motors, unscrews the three screws that hold the switch side plate to the frame of the seat and push a little on switch which will pop it out of its cavity. Then you can remove all the wires.

If they're heated I had to cut a couple of wires a brown and white if I remember correctly as they fed through the seats for the heating element (and didn't want to dismantle the entire seat to get these out) but these can be soldered back on to the replacement switch at a later stage.

Cheers.

Cheers mate. They are heated. What's the wiring to the switch for?
Would of thought heating has no impact on moving the seat.
