Has anyone got any tips for me to help remove a seat. I'm not sure what's wrong with the rails as the motors work but arent strong enough to move the seat.

Removed the motor and used a drill to spin the splines on each side 1 at a time, the seat moved forward about halfway then it wont go any further, so I cant access the rear bolts.
One side will move but not the other side.

Dont know how well I've described that Haha.

It sounds like the runners have been out to fix the bushes and not put back in at the right place.

I had a similar problem with mine, eventually took a grinder to a spare spanner, had to thin down the ring, then take a big chunk out of the side of the shaft to get enough movement. Bit drastic but it worked.

Do not put the ignition on while the seat is out of the car. Otherwise the light will illuminate on the dash, which will need resetting.

Sounds like a pain in the ass. Urgh I so CBA

Nothing fallen into the guides like a bit of old coinage

Managed to get it off with the help of @Axelf
Had to pry the seat up enough to get a torx bit on the 2 screws that hold the rail in. Then the rail was free to slide the seat forward and get to the bolt.
Still dont know why the seat was stuck but dont care now haha
