Hi guys, so I picked up some heated seats for my zed, Mk 1. However on swapping over, the new seats just have a snipped blue and white wire. Comparing to my old seats, they lead into a seat occupancy sensor, which although I can unclip and transfer across to the new seats - I’m struggling on how I’m going to make a connection.

There is a longer loom and plug on my old seats, but can’t find away to get it off. Any suggestions? Would cutting the old plug with enough length off and then taping together work? Last thing I want is a constant airbag light! Cheers!

Cut and join the wires is the way to get the plug onto your new seats Stu but solder and hear shrink tube the joins rather than twist and tape.

I'm sure it will be Stu and it's a permanent joint unlikely to give you any errors.

Do you have a passenger airbag
I do, otherwise I would have thought about leaving it out. Just done a snip, solder and few seconds with Nicky Clarke on the heatshrink... fingers crossed!

Mission success! My girlfriend can now have a heated bottom. In the middle of summer.

Mine will have to wait til another day!

Also retango’d my rear lights this afternoon, really like the OEM look.
