Hi All,
Well I decided to change the seat bushes and fix the up/down movement on the passenger seat at the same time. Everything was going ok (not according to plan but ok) except that I forgot to count the number of turns needed to remove the seat bush from the spindle (or whatever it's called) so decided to put them at the fixed end and use the motor to adjust them. On putting the seat back in the car the motor attempts to move but in a twisting motion. I took the seat out and repositioned the seat bush and tried again but same result.
I didn't swap them over so they are on the correct runner but is there anyway I could have put it together incorrectly so that one side is running the opposite direction hence the twisting feeling? Also, do the motors have any kind of limiter that stops them running too far in either direction?
Thanks, Tracey
