Just recently I changed the guide and the bottom bushes on SWMBO's drivers and passenger seat, it is a bit of a faff, but not difficult, and certainly worth doing. There are plenty of how-to's on here, a little tip if you do decide to do it, is use cable ties instead of hog rings when re-assembling.
