A brand new seal will be a BMW only part if it's still available.

You can't get new seals as they are bonded, the seal goes all the way down the window runner, I only have the passenger side for sale, you might be able to get brand new but would need a window company to fit it
Really easy to fit the whole thing, door card off and 3 10mm bolts
Did they give you the price for the seal on it's own or as a whole new quarter light? I thought it only came as a complete assembly.
Realistically you need to replace the quarter light. Although you need to pick and choose to make sure you get a decent one. They go on the top and can also split down the runner. The issue otherwise is the seal is bonded onto the glass (from memory).
I must have 3 or 4 quarter lights but only 1 or 2 have decent seals. And I need them for my own projects.
Yer I've got the quarter light off and the seal just fell off , so I thought it could just be replaced, scrap yard it is then. BMW must have quoted for the whole thing then, that's why it was so expensive. Do you know of any decent scrap yards around here that has BMW as you are pretty local to me. Thanks in advance
