Sealing frame fix

Hi all,

I have a single crack in my soft top sealing frame which is letting water into the boot. It is straight downwards, not sideways or anything.

What product should I use to fill in the crack? I've seen a guy on youtube called "Moment Of Zed" who does lots of work on his Z3 in the US, he used some superglue type product, but I am wondering if that fix has actually worked well for anyone?

And should I be clearing water out of anywhere else apart from the boot? Like in case it went to a part of the car body/frame rails with no drainage?

Inside the car that shelf behind the seats behind the storage box. I don't know what that shelf is called. Anyway I'd expect that to be soaking wet if the roof sealing 'bow' is letting water in.

I fitted my own new roof so had the sealing frame out and back in and there's no direct connection between the sealing frame and the boot.

How di you know there's a crack in yours? Or are you just assuming theres a crack because you have a leak?

I took the seal off of the bottom soft top liner, it's pretty easy to pop on and off. I could see one crack clearly. That shelf where the soft top is stored when its down, that is completely dry for me. But I do hear some slosh sometimes from somewhere which is odd!? I checked the chassis drains, they work perfectly fine.

Edit:
I'll also add that it defos is that sealing frame crack thats causing the water ingress, as when I pour water near where the crack is (with the seal on) the water drains quicker in that one spot, and I see it using capillary action going down the wiring loom into the boot.
