Sea of plastic !!!

If there is one thing i hate on my base model 97 1.9 its the sea of black plastic inside the car !!
So the centre console was the first thing to go to be replaced with a late model brushed Ali one .... anyway
we've just had a new settee and not being one to waste a thing i cut up the old one to keep the leather, so what to do with it ? how about leather on the storage box lid for a more expensive look.
I cut up the leather to the right size and one can of Evo-Stik (£8.99) and the job was done all in all it took about 2 hours to do but it came out great !!

That looks a great job, I'd be keeping it well nourishsed with leather cream so it doesn't shrink back, it's going to be exposed (hopefully) to the full impact of the sun there.

Looks much better than the plastic though :-bd

It was a 10 year old settee so it was a good colour match, all so the piece i used had a felt back to it so hopefully it won't shrink
