Yep, that’s the Dakar, @Pingu is responsible for me getting off my bum and planning the first Scottish run. Might need to get the Dakar out of retirement for this!!!

Accommodation and route update tonight once I get in from work got 2 cracking routes sorted and after 5 days of searching finally got a hotel together details this evening

Mike currently looking into this area View attachment 91891 tonight we have been looking into hotel options and routes .
Biggest current issue is further north and west you go some of the prices are like the mountains ( they suddenly become substantially larger )
Looking to bring Skye into play as pretty jaw dropping scenery about there

@Stevo7682 As I have done this area twice now I already have routes on myroutes you could use as a starting point if it helps.

Hi Stacey appreciate the offer ( sorry not got a poster but leave that with me a couple of days or so) happy for you to put up but I am going to keep number limited due to to roads that we will be travelling on so as it stands not too desperate to add to the list too much.

Hi guys in response to @Pingu and @Jjim if everyone is happy enough I was going to block book the hotel.
I will put together a pm thread at the weekend to get the ball rolling on that front .

Also as an update after our crash course recce in December after speaking to the manager in person there will be no change in price but did get a concession on the deposit .
Deposit will now be 33% instead of 50% ( refundable till 4 weeks before booking date)
To be paid by April 1st but like I said will put pm thread together sort that out there.
