Then we left popped into the garden centre about 8 miles away went for a donner round then we decided that we would go back via oban to Lochgilphead as I came round a bend between the garden centre and the hotel passed @paulion a corner then between the hotel and oban passed @Mad2718 with Ant and Ann .
So we carried on through oban on way to Lochgilphead done a few miles cane round a corner to find @bertiejaffa and @Mark Parrish coming towards me gave them a wave ( as you do ) but Lee honked and indicated to stop they had pulled in so I turned around and Lee and Mark had said the road was closed a few miles further down because of a bad accident and would remain so ( transpired in news reports that very sadly a motorcyclist had been killed )
As this was the only road back we decided we would go back via oban and Loch awe to Inveraray stopped there for some lunch sat nav had us 38 miles from ferry terminal arriving at 1551 ( ferry leaves at 1550 oops ) but after a spirited drive through some scenic countryside arrived at Hunters Quay at 1546

As always, a very big thank you to Steve and Lynne.

Sorry that I couldn't do the Sunday, but I had to do most of it on Tuesday morning when the Taynuilt Inn burnt down and the A85 was closed :wideyed: .

Hi @Euan Williamson it is myself that organises the Scottish run usually its a different route each year but because of the covid restrictions early this year I re ran last years route.

The 2022 run will be the same September weekend ( as I already have it booked off work )
The run will be officially announced round about Christmas time ( quite often I still won't have the run finished at that point but will start taking names .

This run has become very popular of the forum calendar and tends to fill fairly quickly.
The problem is that depending on where your going you have to find a hotel to take a big group then the various stops have to also accommodate a large group so number is dictated by the route but keep an eye on the forthcoming events as that is where it will be announced.

Stephen.
