£190-£230 for single room with breakfast for the 3 nights on booking.com.
Unfortunately, that’s the rates on the west coast of Scotland due to constant demand - in fact this hotel is very reasonable.

Appears a lot of the hospitality industry are milking it for what they can and jacking up their rates :-(
Same thing happens all over, after each hurricane that goes through the Keys prices go up, even in areas that haven't had much if any damage. Flight prices will bear no resemblance to pre pandemic prices when they eventually allow foreign travel.
The hospitality industry has been hit so hard all through this pandemic, probably more than any other and have to recoup some of their losses or go out of business.

On a smaller scale we have had a home in Florida where we have had no income for over a year but have still had overheads to pay out.

Tony.

I feel for you Tony, this is a situation that you could never have dreamed of happening.

Thanks guys - my own M Coupe is still in bits in Munich Legends needing a new engine.

I'm hoping that my mate (who's coming with me) will be able to bring his Z3 but his is currently in for bodywork so they're both a race against time to get ready for this trip and I'm not certain either will be back on the road in time....

What's the feeling if I turn up in a "non-Z".... I have a Roadster - just that it's a Smart Roadster....???

Fine with us you wouldn't be the first ( or last) forum member to do a run in a non zed @Mint and @bertiejaffa are 2 that spring to mind both doing Lakes runs in non zeds.

SitRep. Sadly I've had to pull out of this year's event, I now need to take eldest daughter down to Leeds University on the 18th. Stephen has been informed via PM. Enjoy everybody.

That's a real shame Andy I was looking forward to catching up with you but Family comes first.
