Hi guys! Thought I would make contact with the Mints and Bazza who are residing at the Premiere Inn Penrith and ask about the meet up
time for the Friday morning with Duncan? We are about a half hour drive away and would like our breakfast before setting off up to meet you, so do you have any thoughts about what time your planning on setting off for the drive north? I have your hotel post code as CA11 0DT
and it may be a good idea to exchange mobile numbers in case of unforeseen circumstances. By PM ofcourse!
Brian / Duncan have not spoken to Dave as yet but I would imagine that we would like to leave Penrith about 10-30 ish doe's this sound good for you two:whistle: I think it would be good to exchange mobile numbers will PM you with mine:thumbsup:

Hi @zedwheels, @La_vida_diver, @Bazza back off our hols and just been catching up on this thread. We're actually staying at the Travelodge in Penrith not the Premier Inn. The address is A66 Redhills, Penrith CA11 0DT and leaving at about 10:30 on the Friday morning will be fine. Google reckon its 170 miles / 3 hours via the A74(M) or we could go 190 miles / 4 hours via the A7 we can decide on the day.

As for eating on the Thursday night the hotel website says 'Guests can enjoy a variety of food and drink choices within easy walking distance from this hotel.' so we'll see what is available when we get there. We will have each others numbers to co-ordinate a meet time and place.

Not long now...

Went through Penrith yesterday. It ain't very big, I'm sure you'll find a jet wash easy enough.

I have given the Alpie a foam wash and dry, and a nice waxing so the midges should now just splatter and slide off.

Exceptional plan of action Brian. will be taking lots of photo's :snaphappy::snaphappy::snaphappy::snaphappy::snaphappy::snaphappy::snaphappy::snaphappy:
