Apologies for the extended delay. The forum has been receiving very high levels of traffic from AI crawler bots, which consumes a large amount of server resources and has been affecting performance for everyone.

To resolve this moving forwards we have moved the forum onto a new, more powerful server that is more suited to this kind of load.

Thank you for your patience today, I’m sure you all found something else productive to do with your extra time!

Just to echo the thanks above but also I've noticed the site seems much faster now.

Homepage loads in around 800ms now and as the caching builds it should get faster still. Hopefully keep us going for a while before the next upgrade
