Been there twice. Is the shopping centre still burnt down and sat there like a monument in the middle of town?
Yeah cant see us coming back here in the future needs a lot of money spent on the whole resort best part though is the weather
The yumbo center and that scrap yard on the beach is no better either. Surely they must have loads of tourists coming here to be able to generate enough revenue to smarten it up. Lanzarote is much better
We went to Lanzarotte before going to FV and would have said the opposite, mind you that was about 10 years ago. We found Gran Canaria and Tenerife were the nicest two islands. On FV we stayed in something gardens at Coralejo on the NW corner of the island

Yeah that's exactly what we thought last time we went mate. The all inclusive hotels have destroyed the resort, the restaurants that are still going are almost begging for you to go in. It's a shame because the restaurants and bars down at the waters edge were a lovely place to go and eat.
back yesterday was a great holiday and the weather was superb, dont think we will return though... so many other places to try, tenerife is on our list and fuertenventura, but after visiting lanzarote so many times we know where to go and love puerto del carmen and our friends villa in playa blanca...
just need to get some flights sorted now for our september holiday, we may try torrevieja and mercia areas of spain... or even nerja depends on how good the flight pices are..
