Hi, been sent over to this forum from the .net one by Ian... I'm after a place on the stand at BMW show. Is there any places left? Thanks

I'll be on the strip in my e46 330ci, it's my mum that'll be taking the z3 so it might not happen :/ it's only a bog standard 1.9 8v.

So how do I get a stand pass? Do I need to get tickets from pod and passes from here?

I think there are a group of people doing organising I am talking to Premier in about a potential Group booking at the hotel but do not have any answers yet. I do know that Yockey,Swamper and zedwheels are there so I am trying to get that a load of us can book.

OK I finally got through to someone who talked sense, although I did not like what I was told. In order to do a group booking with them all they do is have different policies. In essence that boils down to you have to pay in advance and on one credit or debit card and it is non refundable AND there is NO discount or sweeteners so for a group we are still all best doing our own thing. So I am afraid I shall on this occasion just be booking myself in with Yockey and Swamper at the Premier Inn Wellingborough. In fact I have just had the email offering the group booking price for 15 rooms and they want an extra £9 than I have just paid to book my room.

I am afraid that form that perspective that closes the chances of us ever doing a well planned group booking with a premier inn. I shall investigate Travel Inn and Travel Lodge for further events.

Yockey and Swamper what are you thinking about arrival time and eating on the Saturday as they have the Dog and Duck and we could prebook a table if you fancy it. I would be happy to co-ordinate if we do, what do you think?

I guess my next series of questions are the same as Edges do we get our Santa pod tickets individually or through some code or other? it would be great to have a BMWCCGB/Zresister/Zroadster.org etc collective stand or whatever.

I have never been near Santa pod so any and all advice great fully requested?

I'm in again this year.

Worth hanging on for a Zorg group stand to be organised before buying tickets individually as you need to tell the organisers which group you will be parking with (otherwise you'll be in the public car park). In previous years when I've organised the zroadster.net stand I've collated the purchase and distribution of tickets to all however time looks a little tight this time. I'd suggest that once the Zorg stand is confirmed we all contact Santa Pod and get our tickets. Just waiting for that confirmation now as it seems like we have the minimum 10 cars interested.
Myredzed/yockey

I am happy for speed to book direct with Santa pod but if we need a code or some other thing so that we are together as a group I wuld like to do it sooner rather than later. I have booked my hotel non refundable to save the £6.00

I also have no information on what happens when we get there and am not sure if I am taking one or both cars yet. I suppose I better go look at the Santa pod web site but I sort of think the details will not be there as usual. Can anyone post what sort of happened for us newbie's so we are less in the dark? :coolsteer)
