Saab in Ypres

I saw this car parked in Ypres, seems in fair condition, don't see many like it now.

I don't think so, I think they were using Triumph engines for that model, but I am probably wrong

We're they the ones with major braking issues? If it rained they didn't work!

The SAAB 96 of that era used a 1500cc German Ford V4. Two stroke cars have a rounder nose. I'm not aware of a braking issue, but they were fitted with a freewheel device which was a throwback to the two stroke engine.

Yeah, Ford V4, same as the old Corsair if my memory serves me right
