Rutland Water 20th March

Shelly, (see original thread) Do you & Alan want to stay Sat night, then start off from Heacham Sunday morning?

Mike & Sandy

That's a great idea ..........:p
Thank you ;)
I'll have to see if I can get the night off work :)
Thank you for thinking of us xx

Another Place we could all meet up would be Rutland Water. Both Rutland and Grafham are quite picturesque and offer good photo opportunities.

Mike and Sandy
Did someone mention a photo! :D

Yes photo opportunity @Grumpy :p
Does that mean you might come along :)

A bit off topic and not much of a scenery tour but the Black Country museum always a good place to visit and give people an education plus it's fun with the host in costume.
Your right about the Black Country Museum it's great but as a Zroadster.org meet I'm not sure but would love to get my Z3 in the museum for a shed load of photos

If you meet at Rutland I'll do my best, got lots on this coming season so need to watch how many I commit to. I want to do everything but I can't afford it. :(

Yes, Grumps!! Both the Lakes make a terrific backdrop, a real 'David Bailey' moment, you can't go wrong!!! Dave.

So is it likely to be Rutland or Grafham Mike?

This is a democracy, Dave, it's up to the people!! IN OR OUT?? RUTLAND OR GRANTHAM. Cast your vote now, why wait until June!!!:D;)

Either, Or, what does everyone think/want, there is not a lot of difference mileage wise either way for us!!:coolsteer)

What's at Grantham Mike?;)

Tony.

Rutland would be better for us Mike.

I looked at their websites earlier and it doesn't look like either has a cafe. :(

I'm fairly sure the one at Rutland does, I seem to remember some pictures from 2014? @FRANKIE

Everyone at Rutland.webp

Tony.

That brings back some great memories, Tone. I can see so many familiar faces there, including ours!!! The lovely weather, a great crowd, fantastic scenery, followed by an amazing cruise, what more can you want, even Hugh (furthest left) made it down to Rutland to see Frankie off!! :scorecard:

Not for us :( we got left behind and it was all because you didn't like our new zed
I know it looked like a Hyundai IX35 but it was just a zed in disguise =))
We'll try harder if we come again :)
Enjoyed the picnic though :):)
