Defo structural mate. Stops your bonce getting crushed should you roll.

Try to find it in the M.O.T. tester's manual. Just another part of the weird s*** in that book.

Oh wow. Sorry haven’t been on the forum for a few days. I removed all the rubber trim, rubbed all the rust back and then put some rusteze on it as a temp measure. I then refitted the rubber sealing trim. It’s rained heavily since and hasn’t leaked yet! I’ll pm you Andy about the bit you cut out of the A frame.
