Write Up Run out to the Lakes

Well we will be heading back today. Has been a really good top down for the majority of the weekend break. Weather for cast is crap for today but we are hoping. We will be heading over to Brough and down to Hawes then to Ribble dale Viaduct. Us and Mozz will be departing ways shortly after this and me and kim will head back through the Peaks.
Not sure if we will get photo opportunities as the weather is forecast as heavy rain everywhere we will be going.

I have to say we have had an excellent weekend. Full of Laughs, beer and most importantly some excellent roads allowing us to have a great weekend of top down motoring. The company was not bad either. @MAURICE THE MARTIAN managed to walk upto the viewing point at St Bees which is no mean feat for an old un like him
 
@t-tony he did need oxygen when he got to the top =)) There was a hand glider who had just took off i thought we were going to have to ask him to give Mozz a lift down =))

That might have been a quick trip down due to gravitational pull overcoming the updrafts! JIM
 
Oh how I envy all of you having such beautiful scenery and roads to travel so close at hand. Thanks for sharing! JIM
 
I have to say Jim we drove some of the best roads England has to offer. Some of the better ones were today but it slung it down all the way back. I am even thinking of doing a trip up there maybe next year but wont be venturing in to @Andy McDonnell territory.

He was not that far behind us to be honest Tony. Mind we did have to stop and wait for him. But it is quite a way up ask @Andy McDonnell

Am in recovery mode now ont red vino.feet up. Chilled.
 
Can you remember that manoeuvre in the vid mate Kim was not best pleased =))
