I'll have you know that I have fond childhood memories of the Austin Maxi.
My best friend across the road dad had one sitting in his drive for years we used to play dukes of hazard in it when we were young
Slide across the bonnet jump in the open windows ........aaah good times :rolleyes::rolleyes:
Me to Steve. visited the Lakes sat in the back of my dads Austin 1750 British racing green with beige interior and once I was older I got the chance to drive it going to interviews

Great cars and many good examples still going strong. Not many standard ones left though.
