Just switched my Bridgestone Potenza RFT's for new wheels with Falken ZE914 non-RFT. Ride has improved drastically as expected. I've already been through the process once on my first Z4 some years back. Also considerably less road noise which is a bonus.

Previously had Maxxis MA-Z1's on my Z3 and they were pretty good. So far after 1k on these Falkens life is pretty good!

As I have never driven this car on both sets of wheels, I can't judge
I bought my Z4 3.0i on run flats last year and they were on the turbine style wheels like yours. I bought some 18" 108 style wheels with Goodyear F1 Eagle tyres on them . Much better grip, smoother less noisy ride. And, like Garry I don't like giving things away so if I can sell these run flat tyres I will by a set of Winter tyres and put these wheels back on for the winter months.

Three of my (17") original wheels are in very good order, one not so much, making me think it has been replaced at some point.

As you can see, the one on the right is not as nice condition as the other three.

It's perfectly straight but the paint and laqueur is starting to crack and peel.

These are nice wheels, as a member once said to me, but they're not so easy to keep clean and as my car is my one and only everyday car that's something to take into consideration.

Not sure how Mark, how would tyre companies sell tyres otherwise. I do take the point though that Insurers can use some things as a "Get out" at times.I would think that as long as your insurers know if/what wheels and tyres you've changed to that should cover it?

Me too Gaz, and they were still on it when I sold it earlier this year. Very good tyres. I can't get them at a decent price through work any more, sadly.
