I went to my local high street today and was about to park up and this lady stood on the pavement flapping her arms about and shouting at me ..... Don't park here , it's my husbands parking space he have just gone to get our car , your outside my house and I want my car here not yours , go and find another space , I was shocked at her attitude , then a few mins later her husband pulled up and told me to move my car as it was his space, and told me to move on , hence no yellow lines just a normal road to park on , if they would of asked nicely I would of thought yeah poor people can't park their car outside their house , I'd found another space to park in , but I parked my car ( they should of been please to see a lovely looking car outside their house ) and said to them I'm taxed and insured I can park here as long as I want , and I walked away , I'm still shocked at how rude they were , I understand they wanted to park outside their house , but they should go about it the right way and not shout at me , they talk about the young with no manners , but they were just old rude people ;)

I can tell that you'd just LOVE working in a casino. People have money and think they're the greatest thing on God's earth and KNOW that they can treat you any way they'd like to because you can't say a thing to them or you'd lose your job. Just swallow hard and take their sh@x. You're fortunate that you could make your point and walk away.
I'm sure you've seen these little smiley buttons that are yellow much like the small icons members use for posting. At one time, the casino made up several hundred of these for the dealers to wear. It didn't last long. Some jerks would come up to the table and treat us like dog excrement lying in the street. But they'd buy in for a few hundred and lose it. Then reach into their pockets for several more hundred dollars and lose that. So they'd end up losing about 12 or 14 hundred and leave the table. Now when we were issued these buttons, we were supposed to say to the customers as they were leaving the table: "Sir, have a lucky day". But in this case, and I hope you can read my inflection, we'd say
"SIR, have a LUCKY DAY!!!!!!!!!!!" Wow, if this didn't bust their ass!!!!!!!!! There's nothing the casino could do about it if they complained because its what we were SUPPOSED to do. We all just LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say, before very long, this 'program' ended.

Shelly, I've seen you in pics and you are a long way from your best by date, not like some of us who are past it but haven't been pulled from the selves yet. Pics are always welcome as the winters are pretty long and the smile of a pretty face is always welcome!! JIM

And in the East Anglian news today, an old aged pensioner suffering with angina had a heart attack when forced to park 1/2 a mile from his house, by young hooligans in a brash sports car stealing assigned parking spaces to get the latest bog off special at harvester. :ymdevil:

Well done Shelly, it's about time people like that were taught a lesson, it doesn't cost anything to be polite, however old you are, life would be much more pleasant if people didn't get uptight over the slightest little thing.

What is a little thing for some people, are huge things for others, we should all be considerate and take account of both sides, the correct thing to do was move on, but I guess some people love to cause stress to others. What you don't know is what happened before you arrived to make them mad.

Yes, sometime it's better to give up on hysterical people when you can get scratches after you step away from the car........I never park in a conflict zone! except if I stay in the car.......
