Ok, please bear with me, I'm still learning lol.

The roof of my Zed does not work on the switch, so..... As per previous post I went to check out the microswitch. Looked all over the roof and can't find anything that even resembles a switch in the roof lining.

Question. Could my top have been a non electric replacement ?

Pump etc is in the boot, switch for it is on the left side to the rear of the driver. Roof seems to have hyd ram attached. Hopefully get the main switched checked out over weekend

Stupid question, but you are pushing down on the brake when you push the roof switch ?

The micro switch is in the frame of the roof on the passenger side at one of the junctions of the hinge.

Check the wire on the passenger side all the way along..........mine was frayed slightly and that was enough.
Cut and rejoin and all was well.

The cable/wire is hidden/attached behind the metal frame.

Is yours a facelift?

If so it has an additional/inner layer of material I believe, but presume it's the same underneath, but maybe not so visible.
