E89 Roof problems - code A69D - CTM - where to start?

Hi Robbi - hope you are well. Yes, apologies, I went off on another track after inspecting the pump and finding it was OK. So Carly was leading me on a "wild goose chase" and I later checked out the CTM. I nervously took it apart and found some corrosion on a part of the circuit board, so I gambled on buying a replacement CTM (£150 I think) and it fixed everything! Roof operates very well, but is still a bit high in one corner so I'll post pics and get some more advice!

I saw this issue as well some months ago - damaged by water inside of the CTM.
