The current message is that IF the site develops further, then we will do it properly! You will end up with something like what happens when you arrive at .net

That will mean a whole lot of development work. The main page will become a proper 'landing site' developed using WordPress. So yes, you will get an overview page with 'hot threads', announcements and the like.

On top of that it will also have some level of interaction as well with social media (Facebook, Twitter etc).

The forum is only limited by the amount of time we have, and the modules we can bolt on to this latest version of phpBB!
