Not in the UN Diplomatic Corp or work for the Bleeding Heart Society then?IMHO I think they look bloody awful cheap sh***, if you want to do it, go OEM.

if you have hoops or not if you roll your convertible its highly likely you will have had your chips, but then we all cross the road everyday without thinking hey these cars need airbags on the outside in case they hit me, the fact we are all driving around with a few gallons of explosive liquid in a tank just behind our seats or the spinning prop shaft is just inches from us not to mention the reliance on 4 rubber rings on our wheels, the list is endless, like clarkson says - rather go out going backwards in a ball of fire than wimper awayJust enquiring about a bit of bling but to do it OEM is more than I want to pay so I'll leave it as is. Thanks all for input and advice.when you see the state of a rolled car with a tin roof you have to wonder if the hoops on a convertible would do much anyway, there no higher than the seats, if its security you want then a multi point roll cage is the only way.
roll hoops are a bit like being told that putting your head between your legs in the event of a plane crash will save youif you have hoops or not if you roll your convertible its highly likely you will have had your chips, but then we all cross the road everyday without thinking hey these cars need airbags on the outside in case they hit me, the fact we are all driving around with a few gallons of explosive liquid in a tank just behind our seats or the spinning prop shaft is just inches from us not to mention the reliance on 4 rubber rings on our wheels, the list is endless, like clarkson says - rather go out going backwards in a ball of fire than wimper away

No OEM snob here mate, as you say it's my car. I'll ponder on it and see where it takes me.If you don't intend putting your car on it's roof Andy, I don't see the problem with the so called Style bars. If you're an OEM snob well then they're not for you, if you only want to add something which you thick looks nice go for it. It's your car mate. Just my opinion - by the way.
Tony.

Not far off mate, up at 04:45hrs
