Advice please team. This is my current setup, as you can see I have no Roll Hoops fitted. Is it possible to retro fit on my Zed (97 build if that makes a differance?). Not fussed on them being "structural" as I have the "A" pillar and seats for that.

Many thanks

Hi Andy, Yes you can fit roll hoops. Either by:
a) buying and fitting OEM ones with the trims such as the set I have hopefully just sold this morning
b) Buying a set of the stainless steel cosmetic hoops such as @Littlefella bought off me.
In the case of the latter all you need do is remove the two circular plugs at the extreme ends (the horns) and the cosmetic hoops just drop straight in. They are a good tight fit though. Drop @Littlefella a PM and I'm sure he will be happy to show you
Regards, Adrian

P.S Downside with the cosmetic stainless variety is it blocks your top cubby box off so you can't open it. Plus side is you don't have to change any trim items unlike going the OEM route.

That's great Adrian, cosmetic looks the way to go. Many thanks for the heads up.

Got a Sub Woofer thing in there so it's not available for use. Come to think of it, must find out how to lift the lid off and have a look inside. Cheers.

Look under the heading "Zed Gallery" and you'll come across @littlefellas thread "Mad Mods". On page 3 you'll see the hoops I mean and how they fit. You never know he may even make you a Perspex deflector - seems a clever guy :)

That's what I fitted to my Z3 Andy.

Tony.
It's a dilemma Tony, I like the look of bling chrome Roll Hoops but not sure about the central cross beam that marries them together. More thought needed :arghh:

IMHO don't go the cosmetic rout, go for OEM.
People in the know will laugh their heads off if you go for the bling, sorry Tony.

Thanks Jack, I do have a full set of Oem black hoops and trims for sale ,collection from Woking Surrey
Thanks for the heads up, other end of the World for me though. Just wanted to see if it was feasible to fit bling to what I've got.

Know what you mean, fortunately my skin is thicker than a dry suit. It's the cost at the mo, so much I want to do so it's just putting it in a pecking order.:(

Chrome after market ones is the way forward Andy. If you have a sub speaker cheaper to.

I had one of these ^^^^ fitted to my first zed a cheap alternative if its a look your after.
I felt the zed looked bare without its hoops so they where added
