The Hands and numbers fell off the face of my Omega seamaster and snagged the hands.
Guess thats what you get from a market in Beijing!!

My NASA Speedmaster is now 42 years old and still fine - althoughit deserves to be serviced sometime. Perhaps it goes well with my 24 year old Z3 and 41 year old BMW motorcycle . . .
We need to see this motorcycle! Please.

What about a one hundred year old motorcycle?

Tony.

Ahem. Not strictly a hundred year old bike, but I've recently acquired a Royal Enfield Classic to sit next to the VTR. Oldest bike firm still producing bikes, and the Bullet (which the Classic is based on) is the longest-running bike in production.
It's in bits at the moment (bought as stolen/recovered) so not worth taking pictures of just yet, but they will be appearing once I've worked through the list of bits and bobs. It'll look something along the lines of

There you are, thread nicely hi-jacked. And flown to Cuba, too, no doubt.

Here you are then. This was Shirl's late Uncle Harry's bike. It is a Quadrant and has just turned 100 years old, still running too.

As far as I'm aware it is belt drive a single cylinder 350cc.

Bet you look real good on it too. (Shirl's seat looks a bit hard) o_O

Sorry to keep this dead boring thread going but my wife made me clear out a set of draws I bought nearly 32yrs ago and guess what I'd totally forgot about. It was in the nineties when I decided I wanted to buy a motor bike so someone thought I might like this.

It hasn't seen the light of day since 2003-4 we believe, and with my memory getting a bit iffy I was surprised I didn't show you all in my last post. No !!! I didn't buy a Harley but bought very much later (2007) a Z3. No regrets, well not many anyway. Bit old fashioned with belt leather pocket but real nice talking piece plus it also tells the time.lol
Just put it on my sons window sill next to his chain model motorbike while he's out. See if he's interested as I'm not sure cos he rides a Triumph Triple, but he does get it serviced at a Harley main agent, what's the betting he says no thanks, let you know.
