Back on the early 80’s my company van was a Morris Marina, the Reps had Allegro’s and the branch manager was the luckiest man alive , he drove an Austin Princess! My first day on the job was with two other guys on a job to Cornwall ,the Sherpa van we were in decided to crack the cylinder head in the middle of nowhere and we had to get a taxi back to Bristol. It was a good job the Leyland dealer was within walking distance
