Anyone who used these may be interested in this video I just saw , it shows a method of installing these Rivnuts without using the specific tool for the job and probably does it better.

Very clever, I love things like this.
I fitted two motorcycle tyres using zip ties yesterday ( I found how to do it on you tube and just had to try it )! Sorry I don't know how to do a link.

Yup, that's the idea, I trapped the innertube inside the tyre, impossible to pinch it. I have been mechanic-ing for half a century, why didn't I think of that ! I recon it took about twenty minutes a wheel, on and off.
