Can anyone tell me what the finish on the Z3 leather seats and door cards finish was originally. matt, semi-matt, satin, semi-gloss or gloss finish

Hi Carl. . My seats were quite shiny when I bought the car .. I gave the seats are good clean and condition with leather cleaner and they are now a matt finish.. maybe that was the original finish I don't know but they look a lot better now

I'd get your trim code of the spec sheet and ring BMW Carl.
It’s satin, well using furniture clinic product anyway. I experimented a while back to identify that.

My original seats and trim were cloth Dave
I used LiquidLeather on mine at the weekend. I am not even sure they are leather as it looks so shiny. The centre panels are kind of leather looking too. A nobbled effect. I think they're actually vinyl. Did they do vinyl or is it just shiny?
They’ll be leather malc I think the nobbly ones are Oregon leather. The shine comes from years of bums on seats grease and dirt.

I’ve ordered everything I need to redo my cards and seats today from furniture clinic really great guys so helpful and also received a discount as a member of zroadster. Flying out on holiday Monday so a project for when we get back before going back to work. May even do a progress thread

Are you using aerosol or compressor? I think you will quickly go mad trying to use the cans.
And it does need spraying not wiping on.
