True, I heard of german drivers who accidentally bought used RHD mirrors resulting in a disadvantage concerning the field of view. But from what I know, that's not only because of the glass but due to different angles of the mirror housing, don't know any details though.@DomiMik , well I guess it,s important to now this if your buying second hand for example, that a mirror for a LHD and RHD would be different for the same side of the car.
It is the glass, take a short straight edge and put it across the mirrors, you can clearly see for yourself yourself the curvature on the passengers side, it surprised me..I too thought they would be the same..True, I heard of german drivers who accidentally bought used RHD mirrors resulting in a disadvantage concerning the field of view.
