Retirement Project

How fast does it go :p
Looks fun :)

Sometimes you don't need speed to have fun!:)

Are you going to keep them or sell them on Zeti?
At the moment I'm overloaded, no more room. In the family I "declared" I will sale some, but heart says no!
It's such fun resurrecting and driving them....ask @Robert Wiles , look at his lady's face!;)

Love it, I really enjoy bringing life back to old things, I am planning retiring when I am 55 in just over 2 years and I will be in serious need of a project
How about I'll buy an old tired z3, you do it up like new again and I'll keep it!! there would be a drink in it for you :D

When it was new, with a rider of 1960s weight, it would have done the best part of 30mph. At 50 years old with a 2000s fat bloke on it, I reckon 25 would be a good result. Mrsw is a lot lighter than me, so for her 30mph might well be achievable. It is really good fun though, whatever the speed.....

My best friend runs a small garage business and whenever we go to see him there is always something interesting in the the workshop. One day we were there and in the corner was the Raleigh moped. My wife fell in love with it. I never thought any more of it until a few months ago when my mate came to visit us for a weekend. Instead of a bunch of flowers he arrived with the moped in the back of his car - very thoughtful gift.
Listen to your heart - keep your collection. They are happy little machines that are so much fun to rebuild and ride.
