Hi,
My daily driver (except when snow ice and/or salt is present) is a '97 1.9 Z3 with the wheel on the right side and an automatic transmission. It has 95,000 kilometers on the odometer and came from the factory with an M suspension. It is slightly customized with 18" wheels and carbon fibre medallions. I also have another Z3 which has a standard transmission. It is Boston Green, LHD, and totally stock. I bought it on E-Bay in New York and drove it home to BC by way of Texas and Southern California. It was on my bucket list to take a road trip around the USA in a roadster. It has been transformed from a "zee three" to a "zed three" and is now for sale, even though it is in better shape than the my RHD automatic Z3. I will soon switch the license over and drive the green one until it sells.
Welcome to the forum from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey..............Frankie

Trinity is a lucky girl. I think it's worth ten grand around here.

Trinity is a wonderful girl and she did find the car after all. I like you love driving the RHD which was purchased from just outside of west London and shipped to Halifax then trucked to my drive after getting lost for a week after the driver took an unknown vacation to an unknown destination. Long story!! JIM

Boston Green looks pretty much identical to Trinity's. I've just had the seats changed from beige to green and had a tan top installed. Will PM YOUwhen I get a few minutes, I'd love to see more pics!! JIM

I'd like to hear it. It would be interesting to know the economics of importing from England. I am gonna take more pics soon. Right now I am having real difficulty re-installing the "long" brakelight on the trunk lid. The new gasket I bought seems too thick to allow the clips to clip the two pieces together. Then one of the unique 1/2" long torx screws falls into the bowels of the trunk lid. Replacement and spare on the way from Germany. aaaaaarrrrggggghhhhhhhh.

Sounds like you're having one hellofa good time. One of the reasons I love living at the end of the block on a dead end street. No one can hear my choice remarks when I critique my work. I know @oldcarman can explain his reasoning financially for importing the car, but I sure you will soon get a corresponding response from @hard top. Its similar to what happens in this country when the Republicans make a statement and the Democrats respod with their opinion. You just opened a can of worms.

If a man speaks in the forest and no woman is there to hear him, is he wrong?
Answer: 100% when he's married.........................Frankie

@FRANKIE! If a man speaks anywhere and there is only one woman alive along with HT. He'll be wrong!! I haven't been following what is going on with much of the forum lately due to illness, but feeling 60-40 so taking a short vacation to clear my head shortly. No idea what I'll do when I get there but the air fare was really good so snapped it up! We'll see how it goes. JIM
