Respect the zed.

That's all fair enough @Ianmc. I agree standing vehicles isnt the best solution really but for me tucking it up is the better of two evils. In 5 years only had to change one battery and suspect it was age old anyway. I just disconnect the battery and leave it be. It is under a carport rather than in a garage so the air does get around It well hopefully deterring the rot a little more.

I share the same view as Ian, I used to daily my old M rain or shine even drove everywhere in the snow. I'm the same with my current coupe. :D

I don't have a choice but I'm quite happy using mine. I used to sorn the Z3 though.

Tony.

Bit like you Tony, using the 4 when i would never had ventured out in the Z3.

I really struggle with winter, I tend to close myself away and do very little until spring starts looming.
With regards to the zed it goes under the carport, battery disconnected and completely forgotten about. Not the best thing to do I know but I have no get up and go whatsoever until we start getting a bit of light back in the evenings. As the car has got to be up and out of bed in a fortnight I thought I'd nip out and connect the battery and give it a whirl.
I was seriously impressed with the result. I did video it but it won't load, anyways it barely turned and fired straight up. Complete respect for a 20 year old car!! Roll on spring :)

I know exactly how you feel because I also feel like that! My wife thinks I’m a miserable old git but all my hobbies involve being outdoors so winter is a real drawback!
