I bought one like this from eBay. It was very cheap looks the part, but I couldn't get it to work. The piece of wire next to it did though. I believe it is terminal 7 & 19. Plenty of instructions on the net. I am tempted to say, don't waste your money.

Solved thanks

just found a Mike Fishwick article published by GazHyde in March 2014.

Will try it later today

I bought one of those too, and mine didn't work either. The piece of wire worked perfectly!

I went the wire route too. I put a switch in so I could time the short more accurately.

While I have reset the Oil lights with the bit of wire , I still want to remove the light saying the Brake Fluid needs changing, I understand it is time related.[fluid was changed earlier in the year]
How do I take it off?

Most of the reset tools will do both the service lights and the brake fluid light.
On the Draper on in the photo that is what the bottom switch is for, inspection or oil
