So having successfully procured an aerial grommet through Sytner Sheffield for my newly aquired 2.8 pre-facelift for the measly sum of £7.46 I thought I would ask them to source me a drivers side wing mirror base and a bonnet badge.
They wanted £260 for the mirror base (primed not. Painted) and £40 for the bonnet badge both excluding VAT.
Suffice to say I didn't progress so would welcome suggestions on where I could source replacements - ideally I need a Boston Green mirror base and is the bonnet badge 82mm?
 
Said grommet.

Genuine badge only half decent ones.
Aftermarket ones don't last.

As for the mirror 2 choices either second hand good condition one and get painted
(Or if your really lucky one the right colour)
Or option 2 is buy an Xr8 ( around £100 ebay) composite mirror (.still need base painted as none come painted bar second hand ones)
Then fit your motor glass and housings to it
