The armrest in our Z3 is pretty badly scuffed up and has some strange old wiring sticking out of it. I'd like to just replace the whole thing.

Are there after-market armrests that might improve on the original design and if so where might I find them.

If we stick with the stock armrest (1997 Z3, 2.8l) where can I find the part number ? I've looked through some part directories on-line but can't seem to find the part that we would be replacing (flip-top rest that covers what might be an ancient phone charging cradle and a second flip-top that has two small cup-holders).

Thanks,

-Sven

@Southernboy does an arm rest/cup holder mod. See under the For Sale section.

BMW Europe had a limited run of OEM cup holders last year, (may still be available) I believe @Faheem had the part number?? They didn't have the arm rests though, I got the OEM cup holder from BMW and the arm rest to fit it from @Southernboy

Are these armrests for right-hand or left-hand drive or both ? I still haven't contacted @Southernboy but will ask him too, and ask about sales to the US.

I think roadster solutions may do the replacement pads for your console about $60
