I have just joined, purchased my Z3 3lti 2010 with only 34,000 genuine miles on the clock it now has 76,000.
Unfortunately the sun has got to the leather on the passenger side of the dashboard and is peeling away.
As you can see the wheels are not original, they were very tatty and didn't last long on the rough Kent roads.

Welcome, if it's just the airbag cover you can get it out from underneath without removing the dash from what I remember. You will need to take out the airbag then there are a couple of bolts holding a strap in place which stops the cover from flying off if the airbag was to deploy. Then it's clipped down so will need a good push to get it out. If its the pod around the cover then the whole dash will need to come out. It's fairly straight forward getting the dash out and it all separated it's just time consuming.

Hi and welcome. I had this issue also. If you look for furniture clinic they sorted mine out and it's great. Depending how bad it is they can soften the leather, stretch it back over and glue it down. Other option is they will replace the leather with new and colour match it exactly.

It's easy to take off, if you have a large screwdriver you can pry it up if you are careful not to damage surrounding leather, or hit it up from underneather.

Many thanks for the info. Done some research, re-glued the leather airbag cover thereby keeping the logo. I have found a local to me vehicle trimmer who is prepared to re-glue the section round the airbag cover, fingers crossed.

The left hand section of the dash does come off i changed one on my wife's zed a coulpe of months ago.
The glovebox needs to come out then the air bag and airbag cover once all that is out it is 5 screws holding it in ( 2 or 3 of them at a really stupid angle but are removable and replaceable with a bit of patience)
