Had drivers seat out today to repair bolster and while I had the cutting table to myself decide to have a little play with some scrap leather. Not very neat at the moment but should be better with the correct tool..

Thinking of doing it to the headrest on my Zed.

Like your idea for the headrest, would be a nice touch

Thank you,

Trying to perfect it on scrap leather at the moment, Need to get it sharper,
Thinking of getting a press and some stamps made up as then it would be pretty much foolproof..
Going to give it a go the other way round too so that it's an indent..

We can do but in reality not a lot of money in it for the amount of work involved, Also that many cowboys doing bodge jobs that last a few months that it takes a long time then to put them right again, We do full refits for the american 40s 50s scene but only do this as a labour of love.
We or should I say my better half's business is Soft furnishings, Miles away from repairing leather seats, We have the correct machine for doing upholstery but mostly I use it for restoration purposes.
We are putting together a run of wind deflectors for the Z3 in the coming week and this has been cleared with Gaz so if in need I will post pictures in the week coming..

Awesome Job liking the action pictures

Nice, I was just asking as my divers bolster on the my ///M has gone rather thin and parted at the seam and I'm sure the foam bolster could do with rejuvenating. I was hoping you cover this kind of work as I rather have someone who knows what they are doing.

Like the embossing if you do this can you do the ///M motif as well.

Hi buddy,

I can do the Bolster but it may be some time away yet, Just moved premises and have more machines on order so this is taking a fair bit of my time whilst Deb's get's on with the soft furnish side of things. Regarding the embossing I have a press on order and will be seeing a guy next week regarding making me up a number of stamps.

Obviously you would have to palletise your seat and make sure it's safe for transit but I'm sure we can work something out a bit further down the line.
