The time has come to say goodbye to my Saab. I've had it about 4 years but circumstances have changed so we're getting shot of mine and Jues Freelander and replacing both. So until we've sorted the change out i'm jumping in Reggie. He'll be really cross if it rains! I'm off for a couple of days so thought I'd make a start on getting the Saab valeted ready to put on sale. Here's me sat taking a photo of our local cosovan car wash! Well someone's got to do it!.

Jue is doing a lot more miles now so after a cheap diesel esate car. It's pointless spending more than a £1000 as it gets destroyed with dogs, straw, hay etc. I'm after a Touareg or an ML to tow the horsebox we are buying. We've always ran big 4x4 up to having the Saab and have missed having one to be fair.
This isn't a sales ad. I wouldn't sell a car to anyone I know just thought it would make a good thread! :D

Rosie has been my sole daily driver for the last 3 years since I chopped my MINI in. It's not a bad commuter car, I just don't fit it very well. I really wish the pedal layout was better and didn't twist my right hip so much. All that moaning aside, it's nice commuting with the roof down all the time.

Lol, looking it if the window gaz I don't think the roof will be down today!

You can't beat a Z for the daily commute.....except yesterday with all the floods!! It's great to come out of work on a sunny day and drive home with the roof down and big smile on your face. :D

I reckon the geezer on the right could be an illegal Dave, he don't look too happy with you taking his picture! =))

Tony.

Is the illegal's name Gary - As in Only Fools and Horses =))

Well I hope he didn't know. I did it on the sly!

Well at least you've picked the right time of year to use Reggie for daily driving, hopefully no more road salt and frosty mornings :).
Good luck with the reshuffle of your cars.

Steve

I used my Zed as a daily driver for six years until I retired two years ago. It always put a smile on my face in all weathers from sunshine to deep snow. and was the perfect antidote to a stressful day at work. :)

As I've said before, it's one thing that makes going to work bearable.:) Even more so in the summer months! :):)

Tony.

He will love getting out more
Panther was my daily from 2007 up until 18 months ago and will be my Daily when the festa has gone
I should really do a For Sale on here if @GazHyde dosent mind :p

I'm sure he'll allow it just this once if you ask nicely!

It will be fine I use mine 2 or 3 times a week and long trips or shopping trips.
Also left outside more hardy than some give credit.

I love driving my Z every day :p
It's great fun :)
I even take it to do my weekly shop now :)
The looks of the people when I get a trolley full of shopping into the boot ;)
It's a picture ;)

Amazing how much it will take - have got the weeks shopping for 4 in the back of mine. I collected a click & collect a few weeks ago and the young lad on duty was drooling over the car and then amazed all the shopping went in it. Priceless.

Wish my Zed was my daily drive but she'd get battered going up and down the farm track twice a day every day :arghh: Oh, and when your surrounded by cows (they give you a the evil eye treatment):nailbiting:, a low slung roadster is not the place to be :wideyed:

In all truth I wouldn't want to use the zed everyday. I love it and every time I drive it, it puts a big grin on my face, I fear I would loose that.
