After the work was finished yesterday Tony sent me on a test drive to make sure everything was OK. Brakes were lovely and the heating system was working as it should, holding temperature well and blowing hot air into the car on demand, no water leaks so all good. But.......I car kept stalling. Neither Tony nor Brian could understand why as we hadn't done any work around anything to upset the idle in any way. It was suggested I drive the car home and see if the problem clears. Well it got home OK but did continue to stall everytime I stopped. I went out this morning with fresh eyes and started to delve around abit to see if I could spot anything obvious. A wire or a pipe off, a split pipe etc. Well it took about 10 seconds to find a big split in whatever it is you call this!!!

Where the pipe goes into the join was a huge spilt and as we had plans to have a drive out today I cable tied the pipe in as a temporary measure while I wait for the new one to arrive. I wonder what's going to fall off next!!

Good find mate and with any luck nothing else but in hind sight better now than in Europe

Chin up mate, lively bank holiday weekend but Bella will only be getting cleaned as the radiator has a minor leak. New one next week.:arghh: it's only money

Think the rad is the only think we didn't replace on the cooling system yesterday. Don't imagine that's a cheap affair mate! :arghh:

Totally agree mate. I'm sure no one would leave you stranded abroad but easier to deal with here.

Oh dear. Look on the bright side mate, won't be as expensive as repairing your Galaxy!
Every cloud. Still, she'll be running sweet for the upcoming cruises in July, which is nice.
