The only time I've hit the limiter is at a track day. However, usually when I take Z3lda out and she is well warmed up, I always take her to 5500 rpm for a short blast.( Except when Mrs. Bonzo is with me).

to the forum from me too in Staffordshire, UK. I have been known to hit the limiter a few times as well
. That's what it's there for, to protect the engine.
